Everyone associated with The Premier Academy is incredibly proud of its achievements and amazing improvement over the last eight years. In September 2010 we converted to become one of the very first academies of excellence in the country and the very first in Milton Keynes. This process was initially only offered to those schools deemed to be, ‘Outstanding,’ by Ofsted.

The school is officially classed as a World Class Primary and has been instrumental in shaping the path of education at a national level. We are at the forefront of innovation and change and operate with the best resources money can buy. Our most valuable resource is of course the ultra professional staff which makes working and learning at The Premier Academy an absolute joy for everyone involved.

Ofsted deems The Premier Academy to be an outstanding school in every area. This accreditation means that The Premier Academy is officially one of the very best schools in the country. We have realised our ambition to be ‘better than the best’ locally and are now setting our sights at being ‘better than the best’ nationally. Our aim this year is to not just be in the top 5% of schools in England but to be in the top 1%.

Attending The Premier Academy is a privilege for its staff and its children. This explains why 70% of children currently on roll travel from outside the catchment area and parents tell us that they are willing to travel to this school because they agree with the ethos, the culture at school, the outstanding curriculum and the discipline. You will not therefore be surprised to hear that we are Milton Keynes’ most popular Primary Academy.

Over recent years demand for places has outstripped supply which has led us to develop our own building programme, paid for by ourselves in the interest of all local children and indeed those from further afield. We are a rapidly expanding, extremely successful school and enormously proud of it!

Our attached Nursery’s last three Ofsted reports deemed the Nursery to be Outstanding, as did the school’s last HMI (Her Majesty’s Inspectorate) report in 2008. The school also operates an after school club which has been deemed to be outstanding and an equally successful holiday club and breakfast club.

We do not sit on our laurels, we believe that people who adopt the attitude, ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it,’ can become complacent in their search for mediocrity. At The Premier Academy we strive to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of each and every student to prepare him or her for success in a rapidly changing world. The school, parents and community work in partnership to develop each student's academic excellence, social responsibility and personal integrity. All stakeholders are committed to the children at The Premier Academy.
